Public Health Grade:

Northumberland County Council Pay Band 14 £85,286 Strategically responsible for: Improving health outcomes and reducing inequalities for people in Northumberland by supporting the Countys inequalities agenda and delivery of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy as part of the Public Health Senior Leadership Team, in collaboration with partners.

This will include applying public health practice and expertise to the local Health and Care system, providing public health intelligence and advice to the NHS.

Managerially responsible for:

One post holder will have direct line management of the Business Intelligence and Data Team, the Policy and Place team and professional management of a post managed by Northumberland Community Services.

One post holder will lead Best Start in Life and public health mental health workstreams and health protection assurance and development function.
