Daily work associated with the running of the Clinical Engineering Response Centre, Business Support Unit and Medical Equipment Planning Unit (MEPU) by: Answering the customer services telephones, ensuring that queries are dealt with in a suitable manner depending on the nature of the call.

Retrieval and distribution of documentation, recording who it has been distributed to and on return refiling. Undertake general office duties.

Undertake reception duties to support the MESU workshops and Medical Equipment Library. Daily work associated with procurement and cross-charging. Supporting general enquiries received via the MEPU mailbox and phone. Chasing Medical Equipment Planning Group (MEPG) orders.

Raising service requests for approval requests made via the medical device approval request form. Raising equipment planning service requests for confirmed orders. Minute taking. Various chasing.
