The Lunchtime Supervisor in the Junior School will be responsible for helping to ensure that lunchtimes run smoothly and that children are safe and enjoying themselves.

The Junior School comprises of girls from the Nursery aged 3 and 4 years old (called 'Little Acorns') to Year 6, aged 11 years old.

Salary:

£21,394 per annum pro-rata/£10.26 per hour (

Actual Salary:
£3,384 per annum)

Hours:

This is a term-time only role working 11.50 am to 1.30 pm. Monday to Friday.

Duties include, but are not restricted to the following:

General Responsibilities

It is the Lunchtime Supervisor's responsibility to:

From 11.50 am pm:

To promote pupils reading and complete reading records;
To carry out basic administrative tasks to support teaching staff.

From 12.05 pm pm:

To supervise children in the play areas, including rough patch or playground;
To manage the lunchtime routine for all year groups to help ensure that things run to time;
To promote good behaviour in line with the School's reward and sanctions procedure;
To look out for children who are upset and actively help them to feel better;
To administer basic first aid to any children who have an accident and are hurt (training will be provided if needed);
To pass any relevant pastoral or safeguarding information that you have about a child on to the Junior Management Team.
