Job Summary:
- Responsibilities:
- Support small groups of SEN children (SEMH and High Functioning ASD) to look after animals
- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, grooming, and exercising
- Maintain clean and sanitary living environments for animals
- Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Assist with administering medications as directed by the veterinarian
- Handle animals with care and compassion
- Assist in animal training activities
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in animal care required and a Level 2 nationally recognised qualification in animal care
IS A REQUIREMENT: - Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with animals and team members
- Basic IT skills for record keeping
- Ability to drive to transport animals if necessary
- Proficiency in English for clear communication
- Familiarity with SEN environments is a plus
Pay:
From £24,000.00 per year
