Job Summary:

  • Responsibilities:
  • Support small groups of SEN children (SEMH and High Functioning ASD) to look after animals
  • Provide daily care for animals including feeding, grooming, and exercising
  • Maintain clean and sanitary living environments for animals
  • Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to the supervisor
  • Assist with administering medications as directed by the veterinarian
  • Handle animals with care and compassion
  • Assist in animal training activities

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in animal care required and a Level 2 nationally recognised qualification in animal care
    IS A REQUIREMENT:
  • Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with animals and team members
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping
  • Ability to drive to transport animals if necessary
  • Proficiency in English for clear communication
  • Familiarity with SEN environments is a plus
Please note - the actual site of the farm is near Desborough on the Rushton Road.


Pay:
From £24,000.00 per year
