Finance Administrator

Exciting opportunity for a full time / permanent Finance Administrator

£26k - £30k per annum depending upon experience

They are looking to expand their finance team with an Administrator who is a self starter and able to manage competing priorities whilst supporting the Finance Director.

Full training and support will be provided in this administrative role.

More about the role and what we need from you


The main purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the Finance Department and to support the Finance Director.

The main duties of the role can be summarised as follows:

  • Daily invoicing and reconciliation
  • Aspects of accounts maintenance
  • Arranging Purchase Orders for Customers and Suppliers
  • Ensuring you have all the information to complete supplier payments
  • Month end journals
  • Support the Finance Director
  • Challenge current financial processes and make recommend dations for any improvements
  • Other financial tasks as and when required

About you:


  • Clear mathematical understanding.
  • Logical and methodical way of working. Organisation is key to hitting deadlines and executing tasks correctly
  • Have a really keen eye for detail
  • Willingness to adapt to new processes
  • Experience of Horizon financial package would be advantageous, although full training will be provided
