MHHS Migration/Programme Lead

  • We're growing our team at E.ON Next and are looking for a Migration Lead to help take us from strength to strength. In the exciting, rapidly changing world of Energy, we want to really stand out, and to do that you will be critical to our success.


We are keen that you have an Energy or Utility industry background and it is critical that you have solid experience in delivering both large scale change and business improvement initiatives.

We are looking for someone who loves actively collaborating to get to the right result - quickly, is excited to do stuff in different ways, and sweeps barriers away to drive and deliver change in the right way at the right pace.

You also won't mind rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in to help move change forward.

The first focus of this role will be the Market Wide Half Hourly Settlements (MHHS) Migration.

This migration is to move E.On Next customers from the current settlements arrangements to the new market wide half hourly settlements operating model, managing all transitional arrangements and dual running.

The right person will then be asked to continue as a programme lead to run the remainder of the programme to conclusion.

Examples of what you'll do in MHHS Migration- Deliver a successful migration of customers to the MHHS operating model. Create a migration strategy and principles, develop and agree a high-level customer migration plan and related dual running transition plan and ensure all pre-requisites for migration are delivered. Manage senior stakeholders across E.On UK and the Energy industry programme (external) - being the principle contact for migration industry communication. Manage dependencies with other company programmes which impact this migration.- What you'll do as a programme lead- Drive several concurrent, critical projects at pace across multiple functions. Help the team achieve a high level of performance and quality, holding teams accountable for their work, removing obstacles, and mentoring less experienced team members. Define the project's schedule and scope while balancing this with timely and regular value deliveries, organizing and leading working and project status meetings. Promote team empowerment, ensuring each team member is making a meaningful contribution and invested in the project's success.- What we need from you- Bright, numerate and able to articulate complex ideas at executive level Proven experience (4+ years) in delivering successful outcomes through leading Programmes, with Energy or Utility experience Ability to build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Proven ability to influence decision making with internal and external bodies Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level Outcome focused not process driven Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with often changing demands Customer obsessed; our customers are at the heart of everything we do; their success is our key mission Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the "big picture" view Comfortable navigating ambiguity- Here's what you need to know- The role reports to Chief of Staff This is a PC graded role The salary for this role will depend on your experience You will have access to our market leading benefits package, which includes the option to buy up to 2 weeks additional holiday This role is ideally based at our offices in Nottingham, Trinity House.
