Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our expanding finance team.

The Role:

Completing supplier statement reconciliations
Investigating and correcting supplier accounts for debit balances and duplicate payments, requesting refunds where necessary
Supporting the team with onboarding new suppliers
Actively build strong relationships with suppliers
Acting as workflow administrator for PO authorisations, reviewing and ensuring timely processing, including liaison with authorisers, and completing updates where appropriate
Preparing monthly payment run reports for approval, and action payments by BACs
Issuing remittance advices to suppliers
Processing of receipts and submissions from Payment card holders.

Key Requirements

Strong Accounts Payable experience ideally within a Group / matrix organisation
Great systems experience and a confident user of MS Excel
Experience in automated PO processing would be an advantage
AAT qualified would be ideal but not essential.
