We are a team comprised of motivated and skillful Consultant cardiologists, Cardiac Physiologists, Associate practitioners, Cardiographers and Cardiac nurse specialists looking for a caring and hardworking band 3 Cardiographer.
We will also consider a person without any experience but is willing to learn and develop within this role, full training will be provided.
As a band 3 cardiographer you will be expected to perform ECGs, fit 24hr ECG monitors and 7 day ECG monitors.
The Trust has three non-invasive Cardiac Investigations Units, carrying out over investigations each year.
Each unit is staffed by a team of Cardiographers and Cardiac Physiologists who carry out a variety of non-invasive cardiac investigations as requested by doctors, wards, GPs etc.
As a Cardiographer, to perform a range of non-invasive clinical-technical investigation procedures in the Electrocardiography field, on Patients, to a competent standard.
To assist the more senior Cardiac Physiology staff in the non-invasive section of Cardiac Diagnostic Services to provide the routine clinical-technical investigations provided by the Cardiac Investigations Department daily.
The job will initially operate between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, but some variation on these hours may be required dependent on the needs of the service.
