Our client in Bournemouth is looking to recruit Temporary Healthcare Assistants for their busy home in Bournemouth.

You will be providing high quality care and support to older people; people with physical disabilities and learning difficulties, people withmental health needs and dementia patients.

This home specialises in reablement, providing short term support to people who may need support with their daily living activities.

The aim of your work will be to support and encourage people to maintain or regaintheir independence.

Your Day May Include:

Support individual with personal care, nutrition and hydration, as well as moving and assisting which could include the use of equipment (hoists, walk aids etc)
Maintaining dignity, privacy and respect
Assisting with performing practical tasks, including shopping and community activities
Working within both a nursing and residential unit in order to support the service user to maintain the activities of their daily lives, using a strengths based approach

As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll play such an important role in the everyday activities and needs of the residents you work with.

Working as part of one team of nursing and care professionals, you'll understand what matters to every resident, so you cantailor the way you care for them.

Helping them live as independently as possible.
