Events Fundraiser:


Samaritans community & events fundraising team play an important role in generating the long-term sustainable income needed, to ensure Samaritans can continue to deliver its life-saving services, through a variety of third party events such as the Great North Run, London Landmarks, Thames Path Challenge and many more.


Over the past five years Samaritans community & events fundraising programme has grown significantly, and with an exciting new event partnership launching this Spring, we're looking for someone new to join our friendly team.


We're recruiting for an Events Fundraiser, someone who's great with people, able to listen, support and motivate our events participants, to meet and exceed their fundraising goals.

Equally happy to tackle team admin, you're a real team player with a passion for working in the charity sector and a curiosity to learn more.

We are aspirational for Samaritans and strive to deliver the best supporter experiences for our passionate and dedicated supporters. We're also a supportive team, there for each other, seeking out insights and developing our skills.   • Full time (35 hours per week)


  • Monday

  • Friday role with some occasional weekend work
- £27,000 - £30,000 per annum

  • Hybrid working linked to Ewell (Surrey) office, with home and office working

The Person
You'll have previous
event and/or community fundraising experience. You'll have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to organise conflicting priorities and meet strict deadlines.

We're looking for a creative and innovative individual who has experience of marketing activities through both on and offline channels.
