Minimum £21.25 per 30 minutes

Role Overview:
As a Music Tutor at RR School of Music, you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide one on one tailored music lessons to students based on their age, skill level, and musical interests.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Guide and prepare students for Graded Music Exams, fostering their growth and achievement.
- Utilize educational resources and materials to enhance tutoring sessions
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Participate in and prepare students for our biannual music concerts, showcasing their progress and talents.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Passion for music and a dedication to the success of your students.
- Ability to create a safe and supportive learning environment for children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with students and their parents.
- Recognised qualifications in your instrument of expertise.
- Experience working with children, particularly in a tutoring or teaching capacity
- Confident, warm, and friendly teaching style that motivates and engages students.
- Resilience, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Organizational skills to plan lessons and track student progress
- Must be based in Northwest London or willing to commute.
Hours and Benefits:
- Flexible working hours, allowing you to choose your availability on weekdays and/or weekends.
- Parttime hours initially with the potential to build up to fulltime if desired.
- 1month trial period with a minimum 1year contract and opportunities for extension.
- Participation in two student music concerts per year (typically scheduled on weekends).
- Casual dress code and option to take holidays outside of term time.
- Access to free training to further develop your skills.
