Carter Brown has a bank of experts made up of Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Paediatricians, Speech and Language Therapists and Social Workers who undertake the independent reports on our behalf.
Carter Brown was founded in 2001 and joined Antser in 2019. Antser is made up of 3 different companies all working within the health, education and social sector.
Are you a Case Handler?
- A Case Handler is responsible for providing ongoing case management and administrative support to their designated bank of independent expert associates on each of the assessments they undertake for our Solicitor and Local Authority clients
- A Case Handler acts as point of contact to our clients and our associates throughout the life of each ongoing assessment providing updates to both on the progress of the assessment.
- A Case Handlers role is important to ensuring that assessment deadlines are met and both our associates and clients receive the highest level of customer service throughout
A Day in the Life of a Case Handler
- Rapport building with associates and clients on a day to day basis
- Communication is key to being a great Case Handler
- To be diplomatic and professional with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the service
- Providing administrative support to your associate base and clients.
- Responsible for keeping the Carter Brown database fully up to date.
- Creating cost agreements
- Processing letter of instructions
- Completing chasers, daily and weekly
- Deal with any associate/client invoice queries raised by the administrator or accounts team.
- To monitor associates' conduct of cases; highlighting any issues/problems to relevant managers at the service.
- Regularly link in with our Referrals team to discuss your experts, review timescales etc.
- Attend meetings with Local Authorities to discuss ongoing cases, associates and rapport building
- Provide excellent customer service to our associates and clients to keep them referring to us and taking work for us.
- Other duties requested by the Management Team that are commensurate with the grade of this post.
It is the nature of work of Carter Brown that tasks and responsibilities are, in many circumstances, unpredictable and varied. All staff are, therefore, expected to work in a flexible way when the occasion arises where tasks are not specifically covered in the Job Description and have to be undertaken.

£19,500.00-£22,000.00 per year
