The Group consists of;

  • Trident Housing, which provides landlord services for the Group in respect of housing management and maintenance
  • Trident Reach, which is a registered care and support charity delivering personcentred care and support services. These services include supporting people within registered care, domiciliary care, people with learning difficulties, those with mental health needs, young people at risk, older people, BME groups, people at risk of being homeless, those seeking employability, education and training opportunities and those fleeing domestic abuse.

About the role
We are looking to recruit a Lead Rough Sleepers Outreach Worker to join out award winning outreach team. Support clients rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping on the streets of Birmingham. The role is a permanent, working 37.5 hours a week Monday

  • Sunday, flexible shifts from 03:00am
  • 23:00pm. The role is to provide housing and support solutions to some of the most complex and vulnerable people in the city.
The role will involve undertaking extensive foot and vehicle outreach in all weathers through the whole of Birmingham. The role will require working professionally with a range of statutory and voluntary agencies.

Must be a car driver and willing to drive outreach vehicles.


About You


It is desired that you will have a wide-ranging experience of working with single homeless people with differing levels of support needs and from different backgrounds and an understanding of the resettlement pathways that need to be in place to reduce rough sleeping.


You will be motivated by the desire to make a real impact on individuals and communities and will be able to work on your own initiative as efficiently as possible across many different locations.
