Catering Assistant - The Cooper School

TO START IN SEPTEMBER 2023

shifts Monday - Friday / 09:00 - 15:00 Term Time Only

We are currently looking for a school kitchen assistant to help with food preparation and lunchtime service in a secondary school Monday to Friday.

Term time only.

This is a permanent position.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities.

• The main job is to help with, Basic food preparation and assisting other staff where appropriate, such as washing and peeling vegetables, moving deliveries to storage areas, cleaning of kitchen equipment and areas
• General washing up
• Ensure pots, pans, plates and cutlery are back into use quickly during service
• Receive and unload deliveries; unload items, provide organisation in the kitchen and storeroom
• Sweep and mop the floor.

DBS is required, this will be paid for by the company and you will only be able to start once all the checks are complete.
