Fabricator Welder, Full-time, Permanent

Reporting to:
Fabrication Team Leader

Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday 7am - 5pm.

What do we Manufacture?

Our Waste Products range from balers, both vertical and horizontal balers, static to portable compactors, food waste disposal units, waste transfer stations, material recycling facilities (MRF's), bins and bin equipment and a variety of specialist bespoke waste handling systems supplied from its purpose-built factory in Preston.

Pakawaste Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced MIG Welder to join our existing team of waste industry professionals.

What will you be doing as a Fabricator/Welder?
Fabrication and Mig welding of our Steel Hoppers, Balers, compactors and other waste handling equipment.

Minimum 5+ MIG welding experience (essential)

Experience with metal fabrication, ideally from a steel construction, Skip, Hoppers, Conveyor, recycling background etc (essential)

Can read and understand detailed CAD drawings (essential)

Experience working with powered tools such as grinders and drills. (essential)

Be able to produce to a high standard of work whilst working under pressure

Willingness to develop and learn new techniques

A positive attitude towards team work and Health and Safety in the work place
