Accounts Senior / Client Accountant / Management Accountant - SUPERB ROLE

McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a highly regarded Accountancy practice in Buckinghamshire who are looking for an ACCA Finalist or Qualified Client Accountant to join their growing team.

Reporting to one of the Client Managers, you willbe responsible for managing your own portfolio of OMBs/SMEs including sole traders, small companies and partnerships; and the role will offer you a route to a future Outsourcing Manager position.

Key deliverables for the position include:

Preparing basic client management accounts & financial statements for Manager signoff
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards around fixed assets & depreciation, stock, accrued/deferred income, accruals
Compiling information for personal & corporate tax returns required by the Tax team, along with advisory work for discussion with Managers
Preparing statutory accounts & VAT returns for review by Managers and forwarding to clients for signoff, then submitting them online to HMRC
Assisting with special project assignments, ownership of agreed budgets and meeting client deadlines.
Point of contact for clients and other thirdparty stakeholders, with direct contact at Finance Manager level
Ensuring all team work is carried out profitably and on a timely basis in accordance with the firm's standards
Assisting with promoting other service lines within the firm and attending external business seminars/events as required
