Job Type:
Full-time, permanent.
Hours:
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm.
Our client is an independent family run garage that take prides in their first-class service offering high standards and quality work to their customers.
They are looking for a Vehicle Service Coordinator who will work with clients to provide quality service, ensuring that the client gets the service they need.
About you:
This role is heavily customer service based with the Service Coordinator often being the initial contact so having good people skills is a must.
You will also need to build strong relationships with our partners and service providers to ensure clients receive the best care possible.
Building partnerships and maintaining good relationships with service providers and clients is a must to be successful in this role.
Skills & Experience:
- 13 years of industry experience or a related customer service experience required
- Previous administrative experience preferred
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent customer service and problemsolving skills
- High quality organizational skills
- The ability to work well under deadlines and to multitask
- The ability to build relationships and coalitions within the community
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problemsolving skills
Responsibilities for Service Coordinator:
- Be first port of call for customers entering the garage, providing quotes and advice
- Booking and scheduling in the work with the relevant technician, providing updates to the customer throughout
- Answering the telephone to customers, scheduling in necessary appointments and service plans
- Ensure our customers are given the necessary services and follow up to fill ongoing service needs
- Maintain good relationships with service providers and clients to keep customer base
- Contacting our service and parts providers daily, ensuring we are receiving the best price, signing for deliveries and returning what is not suitable
- Expand the list of resources and providers to assure there are no gaps in services
