Perfect Vehicle Preparation are looking for a Vehicle Painter to join our team based in Chipping Warden, Northamptonshire on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role is 45 hours per week with a pay rate of £17 per hour.

We provide first class vehicle preparation services and are a progressive, emerging company focused on building a thriving team of employees who truly make a difference to our customers and partners.

The Vehicle Painter will be a key part of the vehicle cosmetic rectification process, working to a defined customer standard with the skills required to fulfil all aspects of the role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To carry out the preparation and completion of paintwork to a high standard on a wide variety of makes and models of cars.
Knowledge of all necessary techniques associated with body work repair including panel repair and paint preparation.
To mix and match paint for the repair required.
To work effectively and efficiently in the rectification of car paintwork, meeting the required quality standard and customer expectations.
Masking off the parts of the vehicle not being painted.
Prime and prepare vehicles in readiness for spraying.
Experienced and recognisable skill as a vehicle painter.
Ensuring all relevant system / paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
Understands the needs of both customers and the company and demonstrates this in their work.
Takes ownership of all aspects of their role, working without close supervision and demonstrating effective selfmanagement.
Strong organisational skills.
Able to work as a team, and support and assist colleagues.
You may be required to undertake other duties to meet business requirements and settings, including working alongside other departments.
Comply with all Health and Safety instructions and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others who may be working or entering the work area and report all hazards to your line manager.
