Personnel Selection are currently recruiting for an experienced Field Sales Representative, ideally from the publishing, software or digital solutions sector.

This is a permanent full time role and will be offered on a remote basis. There will be extensivetravel across the region, visiting new and existing clients.

You will be discussing solutions and products that will suit your customers needs and will give product demonstrations, wherever necessary.


The main focus of the role is to promote key products and solutions in Higher Education institutions, within the assigned sales territory to maximize revenue and achieve agreed annual sales goal, through all channels but primarily through direct sales ofnew print and digital adoptions to institutions and academics.


This client offers a generous basic package, 10k bonus, £4700pa car allowance and other benefits such as pension, life assurance, private medical insurance, 23 days leave, rising to 26 after 1 years service and also a wellness package.


Essential Role Requirements:

  • Experience/Achievements_
  • Proven track record of sales success in the educational publishing industry and/or selling software, digital and print products with a minimum 2 years of field sales experience
  • Experience of sales in the relevant territories is desirable
  • Skills/knowledge_
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
  • Must be a highly motivated and well organised individual
  • Strong IT proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organised and good time management and planning skills
  • Clean driving license
  • Strong Microsoft Office, CRM and ERP skills
  • To be able to successfully demo all digital courseware solutions
  • Qualifications_
  • Degree educated
