This is a full-time post offered on a fixed contract for 12 months.


Working within Specialist Children's service in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, which encompasses Community Paediatrics, CAMHS & Acute Paediatrics, you will be committed to addressing the health and wellbeing needs of children, young people and their families.


You will:
- work in multi-disciplinary teams whose aim is to provide high quality support, assessment and interventions in line with evidence based practice and national policies/ agendas.
- have knowledge and experience of working in teams where care is co-ordinated and you will fully understand the impact of integrated care and services.
- be professionally registered and have relevant experience in planning and providing person centred and outcome based care.

The post is working within the Tier 4 trauma transitions workstream developing work in relation to trauma informed practice and supporting transition pathways with a trauma lens.

It is an exciting time of innovation and change with lots of opportunities within CAMHS. We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join us on this innovative improvement journey. You will deliver highly specialist psychological therapies and provide supervision to lower grades of Psychologists and the multidisciplinary team.


The post holder:
- will work alongside a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who will provide supervision, there is also opportunities for peer support.
- will have a Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- will have completed Supervision Training.
- will join a group of 70-80 Psychologists working with children and young people in a variety of settings with good professional support and supervision, plus strong working relationships with other disciplines and agencies. The service has strong links both with the University of Glasgow Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and the University of Edinburgh MSc Course in Applied Psychology for Children and Adolescents.
