Claims Coordinator (Buildings & Surveying) - Home Based - up to £23k per annum plus excellent benefits


A Major Loss Adjusting Operation are now seeking a Claims Coordinator to join their Buildings & Surveying Team where you will play a vital role in supporting the division by undertaking the setting up of new buildings claims and coordinating appointments for nationwide field staff.

The role is home-based with the occasional requirement to work from the local office as and when required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up new claims on electronic claims system
  • Act as the first point of contact to policyholders on behalf of clients
  • Arrange and book appointments for nationwide field staff
  • Coordinate visits and appointments
  • Maintain documentation such as spreadsheets to ensure compliant
  • Allocate work to the field team and claims handlers
  • Assist claims handler when required
  • Maintain control and purchase of office supplies
  • General administrative tasks as and when required

Applicant Requirements:


About you:

  • Ideally experience working within the Insurance/Loss Adjusting/Surveying or Claims Industry
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Diary management experience
  • Experience of booking and arranging appointments
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience of understanding customer services
