CMA is supporting our Bournemouth, Dorset based education client with a requirement for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their busy finance team on permanent basis, this is newly created role.


You will be reporting into the Head of Finance and be supporting a fast-paced purchase ledger function with supervisory responsibilities.

Paying a salary range of £26,000 to £30,000 plus an excellent range of benefits and great career prospects.


What will the Purchase Ledger Supervisor role involve?

  • Responsible for the daily workload of the purchase ledger team, prioritising accordingly;
  • Reconciliation of creditors control account and aged creditors, reporting this into senior management;
  • Signing off and checking the weekly supplier payment run before being processed;
  • KPI management and ensuring this busy team are motivated and supported.
  • You will have a detailed and end to end understanding of purchase ledger processes;
  • Purchase ledger team supervisory experience and understanding how to get the best out of a small team;
  • Education sector experience is highly beneficial although not essential;
  • Great systems experience will help you seamlessly fit into this opportunity.
