CMA is supporting our Bournemouth, Dorset based education client with a requirement for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their busy finance team on permanent basis, this is newly created role.

You will be reporting into the Head of Finance and be supporting a fast-paced purchase ledger function with supervisory responsibilities.

Paying a salary range of £26,000 to £30,000 plus an excellent range of benefits and great career prospects.

What will the Purchase Ledger Supervisor role involve?

Responsible for the daily workload of the purchase ledger team, prioritising accordingly;
Reconciliation of creditors control account and aged creditors, reporting this into senior management;
Signing off and checking the weekly supplier payment run before being processed;
KPI management and ensuring this busy team are motivated and supported.
You will have a detailed and end to end understanding of purchase ledger processes;
Purchase ledger team supervisory experience and understanding how to get the best out of a small team;
Education sector experience is highly beneficial although not essential;
Great systems experience will help you seamlessly fit into this opportunity.
