Great Opportunity as an Immediate Start

  • Full time position on offer on a Fixed Term Contract

About Our Client:

My client is an Educational setting in the Public Sector which specialises in learning and development of engineering.


The key responsibilities of a Finance Officer will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Monitor procurement processes
  • Process and maintain data and implement onto system
  • Provide financial information and report on a timely basis
  • Process all financial information including invoicing and payment processing
  • Complete month VAT return
  • Bank reconciliation and income reconciliation
  • Monitor interfaces in relation to financial information
  • Liaise with payroll outsourcing
  • Monthly and year end update and reports

The Successful Applicant:


  • Background working in Public Sector and Government
  • GCSE in Mathematics grade C or above
  • Minimum of 12 months finance background
  • Accurate completion of reconciliation
  • Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • To work as a team and independently
  • To be enthusiastic and selfmotivated
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel to Uttoxeter, Staffordshire

What's on Offer:

Immediate start opportunity

Fixed Term Contract until 2024

Full time role 40 hours per week - Monday - Friday

30 days annual leave plus bank holidays per annum
