As a PR and Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the public perception of our clients' ground breaking scientific advancements.
You will work closely with our diverse client base, crafting compelling narratives that showcase their cutting-edge research and its potential to revolutionize the healthcare industry.
PR and Marketing Executive (based in Manchester)
Salary:
£22,000 - £27,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, draft, and edit press releases, articles, and reports that effectively convey our clients' scientific achievements to a global audience.
- Collaborate with science and business journalists and editors to secure media coverage for our clients' innovations
- Actively manage social media platforms, creating engaging content, tracking metrics, and reporting on campaign performance
- Attend client meetings, both virtually and in person, to gather insights, prepare agendas, take detailed notes, and develop action plans
- Monitor and compile press coverage, ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive media exposure
- Research and copywrite a variety of communications materials, including content for client websites and promotional brochures
- Maintain the agency's databases of media and industry contacts, utilizing CRM systems to keep information uptodate
- Proofread and copyedit all written materials to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism
- Handle general administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records of work and utilizing timesheet systems for project tracking
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of an undergraduate degree in a life science discipline
- At least one year of experience in PR or marketing, either inhouse or agencyside
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Impeccable written English and a keen eye for detail
- Proven copywriting skills to craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences
