Operations & Logistics Coordinator

Ciao We are Hackney Gelato, and we make proper ice cream. The company was set up by two chefs, Sam and Enrico who are passionate about delivering their product into Restaurants, Deli's, Cafes, and shops so that everyone can experience Michelin star quality ice cream._
We are a small business, but we are growing very quickly which is why we need someone to join us as an Operations & Logistics Coordinator. The successful applicant will report directly into the Operations Manager, and should be ready to take on the challenge of improving our operations as to fulfil our sales growth._

Roles & Responsibilities:

Materials planning, including ideal stock holding, demand fluctuation response & lead time monitoring
Supplier relations, including placing of orders & KPI tracking of supplier service
Raw material & finished product stock control tracking of bookstock accuracy
Orders processing (grocery / wholesaler customers)
Coordinating with 3PL haulier & frozen storage services to deliver on time in full
Working with Technical to promote good H&S culture

As we are a growing business, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in additional projects and workstreams.

This role provides an opportunity for someone ambitious to grow with the company.

Essential Skills:

Excellent computer skills including use of Microsoft Excel
Logistics experience
Materials planning experience
Organised
Excellent communication skills the role requires regular communication with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Team player gets stuck in to get the job done
Multitasking & ability to prioritise
Problem solver
Quick learner

Desirable Skills:

Salary Range:
£24-28k (dependent on level of experience)
