Description

Second Step is a leading mental health charity in the South West offering housing, support and hope to thousands of people with mental health and other problems. Our goal is to inspire hope and deliver change for everybody and every community we work with.


Second Step leads a partnership of voluntary sector organisations which deliver community health services in Bristol with Avon and Wiltshire and Partnership Trust (AWP).


This is carried out via three teams:
Assessment and Recovery, Crisis and Early Intervention. All the teams come under the banner of Bristol Mental Health.


The Early Intervention service is for people who develop psychosis between the age of 14 and 35 year of age.

The service is designed to support people by providing treatment in the early stages. Early Intervention Workers work with service users, family, friends and carers

The successful applicant would receive a comprehensive induction and be fully supported by the multi disciplinary team.


You will be an excellent communicator, able to build therapeutic relationships with service users and enable engagement with voluntary and statutory organisations across Bristol.


Please note you must hold a current driving license, either a car or motorbike, and have access to a vehicle.
