Site Engineer - Peterborough

£50,000 - £65,000 + Package

The Company
This Assistant Site Managers role is with one of the UK's leading main contractors. Operating primarily in the new build sector with projects ranging in value from £10 - £200m. Typical project types span most private and public sector works and this roleis within their Southern division that covers London and Home Counties


Role
The initial project that you will be working on is a new build Data Centre near Peterborough.

For this role it is essential that you have previous experience of working on large steel frame schemes and your responsibilities will include:


  • Supporting the Site Manager with daily operations
  • Acting as a technical adviser on site
  • Assisting with Setting out, levelling and surveying the site; QA, temporary works checks, temporary works coordination
  • Checking plans and drawings
  • Managing, monitoring and interpreting the construction design drawings supplied by the structural engineer, architect & MEP engineers
  • Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
