The Quarter events team are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive
Events Assistant to join our in-house events team at Racks Bar & Kitchen.

This varied and fun role will suit someone who is looking to gain a wide range of events experience in a fun and productive environment The scope of this role is quite large - so you can expect to learn lots and become a key player in our team quickly


Key information for the Events Assistant position:


Salary:
£22,500 per annum


Contracted hours: 40 hours per week


Location:
Racks Bar & Kitchen in Clifton, Bristol


What will you be doing as Events Assistant?:

  • Assisting in the booking and planning of the venues events (e.g. private dining events, parties, Christmas meals, corporate events and meetings, even wedding parties)
  • Responsible for the sport bookings at Racks Bar and Kitchen
  • Responsible for the planning and execution of our in house New Years Eve event
  • Responding to enquiries, conducting showarounds, organising preorders, taking payments and event
planning

  • Answering the phone and competently dealing with customer queries
  • Maintaining good relations with the Front of House team and ensuring all correct information regarding events is handed over to them and the relevant managers
  • Assisting in the smooth execution of all events on the day/night of their happening
  • Uphold all elements of customer care, courtesy and customer satisfaction are evident in every service situation

What we are looking for in an Events Assistant:

  • Excellent organisation
  • Good time management and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Front of house experience in events
  • A team player with a sense of fun
  • A gogetter who is willing to get stuck in to the different elements of this role

Events Assistant Shift pattern:

Whilst a substantial part of this role is carried out during 'normal' working hours (9am-5pm or 10am-6pm, Monday - Friday), this is a role that will involve working some evenings and weekends routinely and as required by the business - you should expect at least one day a week to be outside of these hours.

You won't be working every evening and weekend though
