Overview:
This role provides an excellent opportunity for someone who ideally has experience in warehouse, storage & distribution.

Salary is negotiable based on experience.

This role is busy and hands on which requires excellent attention for detail whilst working at a fast pace.

The job will include manual handling duties, and therefore you must be able to conduct manual handling up to the limits specified by the HSE.

Main duties/responsibilities

• Assist in the daytoday operation of the warehouse reporting to the warehouse manager.
• Cover warehouse whilst the Manager is off. Training given.
• Assist in receiving goods in, check and inspect goods received ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type and acceptable quality.
• Pick and pack orders to be despatched to customer.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods.
• Contribute actively as a member of the warehouse staff team, working towards developing and improving our services and operations.
• Carry out regular stock takes and quality control.
• Assist with accurately logging goods in and dispatched onto the computer stock management system.
• Assist in completing daily warehouse checks.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties consistent with the role as requested by the warehouse Manager.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations.

Skills required

• You will have a keen interest in Warehouse, Storage & Distribution.
• Personable with good customer service and communication skills.
• Willing to perform a variety of duties within the warehouse.
• Be punctual and work to deadlines.
• Selfmotivated with a cando attitude.
• Reach forklift license is adventurous but not essential as full training can be available.
• Must have own transport due to our location.
