Description

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and highly effective Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to start in September 2024, you will work within our team of staff providing for vulnerable young people.

The working hours are from 08:30am to 16:00pm Monday to Friday during the school term.

You will also be paid for an additional 35 hours per year, which enables you to attend team meetings and training and development outside of your normal working hours.

Your actual salary will be £23,481.85 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.

What are we looking for?


We are looking for an individual who is committed to ensuring every individual student receives the care, support and guidance they need to thrive and be the best they can be.

The successful applicant will have a GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths, a HLTA qualification (or willingness to work towards) and previous experience of working with vulnerable children and/or young people in an educational environment.


This role will involve working across both of our sites (Anlaby and Welton) and therefore a full driving licence or the ability to reliably travel between the two sites is essential.
