This role is for an inquisitive accountant, like yourself.

The kind of accountant who will spend time with Operations, Commercial and Sales to understand what's impacting the bottom line, and how to improve it.

Fortunately, this SME business in East Leeds has a newly created role for a commercially-focused accountant like you to join their team.

So what about the role?
Reporting into the Finance Director, you'll be providing support on cost control, financial reporting and system administration.

Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll also be supporting with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and monitoringspend across the business.

You'll need you to be savvy with an Excel spreadsheet as you'll be analysing large volumes of data and supporting the senior leadership team by running sales reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

You'll be joining a relaxed, non-corporate SME environment that actively promotes continuous improvement so you can take comfort in the fact your new ideas will be heard.

This would suit someone ACCA or CIMA qualified, Part-Qualified or QBE that might have some previous business partnering experience or is taking their first step into a finance business partner role.
