REPORTS TO:

CEO

JOB PURPOSE:
To provide the
CEO with effective admin support in a varied role covering Logistics, purchasing and HR support.


What are we looking for?

  • Have experience working as an Executive Assistant for a fastpaced SME
  • Posses a wide range of planning and administrative skills with the ability to identify best way to achieve specific tasks
  • Have a positive attitude with a cando approach
  • Methodical and highly organised
  • Understand confidentiality and tailor communication to support
  • Enjoys variety and are excited about learning new things and wearing many different hats
  • Have experience in People Management and Employee Relations
  • Find it easy to learn new software and to give technical support to other users

Day to day duties include:


  • Inbox and calendar management
  • Arranging appointments and meetings
  • Travel booking
  • Arrange purchasing/procurement of consumables
  • Control of quotations for buildings and plant requiring sign off by the
    CEO
  • Oversee maintenance requirements for the Group
  • Organising events
  • Manage Utilities
  • Assist in generalist HR documentation
  • Assist with Performance management
  • Support on specific projects as required

Experience:


Essential

  • Experience of designing and implementing office systems and processes
  • Experience of drafting correspondence, reports and other business documents
  • Experience of working at Executive Secretary/PA level
  • Significant experience of diary and inbox management
  • Significant experience of minutetaking
  • Experience of setting agendas, researching and preparing reports and maintaining action logs
  • Experience of managing work which requires frequent change of tasks and focus to meet the changing priorities of the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team

Desirable

  • Experience of supporting HR Function
  • Experience of undertaking research
  • Experience of working in a distributed team based in a number of different locations
  • Experience of managing projects

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 25-40 per week


Salary:
£21,988.83-£30,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • HULL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Human resources: 1 year (preferred)
  • Experience of working at Executive Secretary/PA level
: 3 years (required)


Licence/Certification:

  • CIPD (preferred)
