About the Role


We have a fantastic opportunity for an Associate Maintenance Lead to work alongside our Engineering team at our Macclesfield campus, an essential part of AstraZeneca's UK Operation and the 2nd largest operational site within the company's global network.

This role is aligned to our Major Assets Programme responsible for the delivery of innovative sterile production facilities.


What you'll
do:


Working closely with the aligned Reliability Engineer you will provide effective coaching and hold team members accountable for completion of set deliverables ensuring that the maintenance strategy is delivered on time and to a high standard.

You will identify, negotiate, and deliver supplier contract agreements and contribute to the effective planning of maintenance periods. You will also be encouraged to champion sustainability within the team demonstrating our dedication to AstraZeneca's global targets.


You will become a key stakeholder within the major assets program and will become an integral part of our project change and controls ensuring all elements of compliance are embedded into the new assets from the beginning.


Essential Requirements:


  • Recognised Training Route such as Apprenticeship to HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent in an engineering related field.
  • Experience in delivery of initiatives, maintenance best practice and local improvement practices
  • Understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (SAP)
  • Experience in structured problemsolving techniques.

Desirable:


  • Basic statistical understanding and the ability to produce technical reports and documents.
  • Experience in Management Systems, Reliability Centred Maintenance and problemsolving tools
  • Experience in delivering change and investigation management.
  • Experience of working with automated packaging lines in a clean room environment.
  • Experience with VHP systems would be advantageous but not essential.
