Please note within this role you will be supporting our planning team with damp and disrepair works planning and administration.


Why are you here?


You will deliver excellent customer service and right first time repairs, through effective resource scheduling and planning of repairs jobs, maximising productivity, increasing the capacity to complete more repairs and increasing customer satisfaction.


What you'll be doing

  • Mainly you will focus on allocating and planning damp and Disrepair repairs surveys and jobs as well as supporting the planning team with planning repairs for both in house operatives and external contractors covering day to day and void jobs
  • Monitoring and managing time taken to complete jobs, following up on outstanding work and ensuing both in house and external contractors communicate the status of repairs allocated to them to yourself.
  • Monitoring and managing operatives diaries to maximise productivity; Good forward planning is essential to manage holidays and sickness to ensure capacity meets demand
  • Being the principal contact for in house operatives
  • Ensure that customer appointments are scheduled appropriately to take into account customer needs and ensure the right operative/contractor is allocated the job.
  • Increase the operative productivity by reviewing, monitoring and managing the travel distance and
  • Proactively use daily tracker reports to manage travel / distance between jobs to improve efficiency and to gain a greater understanding of down time collecting materials not on the van and waste site visits.
  • You will have a customer focussed approach at all times.

What you'll need

  • Ability to work a 35 hour week covering hours between 7.30am and 6pm Monday
  • Friday
  • Experience using IT systems (DRS Preferable but on essential) to book and complete jobs
  • Experience working in a customer service focused role
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage your time and work load effectively
  • Experience using the full range of Microsoft office
  • Good written and Verbal Communication
