Logistics Administrator

Normanton

£22,000 - £24,000

Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Track shipments and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
  • Monitor transportation routes and optimize delivery schedules to minimise costs and maximise efficiency.
  • Assist in the procurement process by sourcing suppliers and negotiating contracts.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as preparing shipping documents, invoices, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance logistics operations.
  • Provide support to the logistics team as needed.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in logistics coordination or administration.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Job Types:

£20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
