The role:
- Providing first line user support across the Group assisting colleagues with technical support (there is a managed service provider providing 24/7 support across timezones so the support is to compliment/improve that service)
- System Administration
- Providing training to business users as required
- Communicating efficiently to ensure the endusers problems are resolved
- Assisting with data and system integration initiatives
- Adding and maintaining user access and permissions (Windows Active Directory/Azure/O365 Exchange/SAP Business One for example)
- Maintaining accuracy of system documentation
- Supporting hardware maintenance in the server room and providing remote support across the Group as required
- Maintaining hardware & software asset registers
- Troubleshooting relevant equipment, such as PC/laptop/tablets, wired and wireless LAN problems, AV equipment
- Repairing and configuring old/new equipment for existing and new users
- Monitoring relevant systems
- Supporting with the delivery of projects as required; this will require strong stakeholder management skills and able to set expectations
- Ensuring compliance with company business & IT policy/procedures
What we are looking for from you:
Qualifications/education Requirements:
- Microsoft Certified (Support / Networking / Security etc.) or relevant qualification in IT or suitable demonstrable experience (minimum 3 years)
Essential Skills:
- Active Directory / Group Policy / DNS
- Office 365 / Azure / TEAMS administration
- Windows Server
- Windows 10/1
- Networking (LAN / WAN / VPN)
- Security awareness
- Installing and configuring software & hardware
- Demonstrated proficiency in internal IT support
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite

£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
