Overall, Purpose of Job:
An Exams Facilitator plays a crucial role in ensuring that the exam process run smoothly and efficiently.


You are responsible for providing administrative support to our customers, following guidance from our Exams Consultants, and ensuring that the exam environment is conducive to effective examination.

The ONTO Group is staunchly dedicated to the safeguarding and welfare of children and adolescents. We expect all staff and volunteers to align with this commitment. Adherence to stringent recruitment protocols is non-negotiable.

Consequently, the role necessitates a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service, in compliance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and its subsequent amendments.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities


Key tasks and accountabilities are intended to be a guide to the range and level of work expected of the post holder.

This is not an exhaustive list of all tasks that may fall to the post holder and employees will be expected to carry out such other reasonable duties which may be required from time to time.


Role Summary:

Checking the exams material's:
you will need to check the exam materials to ensure that they are complete and ready for distribution. This includes exam papers, answer sheets, pencils, erasers, and any other materials required for the exam.

You will create invigilator Rota's for the school based on the availability.

During the exam

After the exam

Collecting exam materials:
you will collect all the exam materials and ensure that they are securely stored. You will also ensure that the materials are transported to the designated location for grading.

Reporting Issues:
if there are any issues or queries regarding the exam process, you should report them immediately.

Person Specification


  • Experience
  • Facilitation, or Secondary School experience is essential.
  • Possesses outstanding communication abilities
  • Exhibits confidence and assertiveness
  • Maintains composure under pressure
  • Adaptable, with a willingness to work flexible hours
  • You must be able to start work at 07:30am.
  • Must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service.
