Description

Waste Management Operatives required to operate the loading shovel and other plant equipment at Whetstone waste site.

Duties include but are not restricted to: operating loading shovel and plant, loading vehicles, maintaining the sites and assisting to deliver a safe and efficient service.

You will need to provide proven experience in the use of specialist plant, such as loading shovel, telehandler.

Experience of working in a waste management industry or similar is essential as is knowledge of waste disposal and treatment legislation.

The nature of the work may involve the jobholder carrying out work at different locations, so owning a car is essential.

The role will involve the jobholder carrying out work outside of normal working hours, including bank holidays and weekends.

Shift Patterns:

Week - 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday (5 days)

Week - 9:30am - 6pm Monday - Friday (5 days)

Week - 8am - 4:30pm Monday - Wednesday (Thursday & Friday off) Saturday - Sunday (5 days)

The Rota then goes back to week 1.

Salary:
From £12.00 per hour
