Health & Safety Co-Ordinator

Location:
Irene House, Unit 7 Wyvern Way, Henwood Industrial Estate, Ashford, Kent, TN24 8DW

Line Reporting Manager:
Head of SHEQ

Principle Duties and Accountabilities:

Reporting to the Head of SHEQ/SHEQ Advisors to assist with the daytoday health and safety requirements
Carry out administrative tasks on behalf of SHEQ Advisors

Roles and Responsibilities:

Support the health and safety team in all aspects of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality
Assist with accident and incident investigations, audits, and compliance
Collating information pertaining to Hazards, Incidents, Near Miss Data, Environmental Data, Employee Surveys and help prepare trend analyses
Collating information and putting them into relevant folders and MTSAaIR reporting system
Dynamic Risk Assessment trend analyze
Assistance in the compilation of information for Health and Safety campaigns
Maintenance of the Toolbox Talk Calendar and the issuing of Toolbox Talks and Safety alerts
Carry out / Assistance with Drug and Alcohol Testing
Provide assistance during Site Inspections and Audits
Provide assistance with the completion of Supplier Questionnaires

Qualifications / Competency:

IOSH Managing Safely (Preferred but not essential)
Additional training to NEBOSH level within Health and Safety will be offered following a minimum 2 years' service
Ability to use own initiative and effectively prioritise workload
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Hold a full driving license may be required to drive a company vehicle
Eligible to live and work in the UK
