Description
Our client who specialises in quality metals, has enlisted FRS to support with the recruitment of a Finance Assistant to join their growing team on a full-time basis, based in Corby.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintaining all aspects of the general ledger on Xero.
- Bank Account Reconciling for our UK & USA sites.
- Maintaining the Purchase & Sales ledger which includes processing & Allocating Payments, raising invoices and posting customer receipts.
- Processing Supplier Payments.
- Maintaining and followingup on Aged Debtors.
- Assisting Management with Month End / Year End Accounts preparation.
- Credit Control.
- Processing Staff Expenses.
- Overseeing weekly employee time sheets and processing weekly Payroll.
- Other General Office Duties.
- Liaising with our accountant in the USA to gain an understanding of local Tax legislation and guidelines.
- Understanding and Maintaining business insurance policies and renewals.
- Experience with Xero accounting software is an advantage.
