The Greendale Group is looking to appoint a Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing team based in Exeter.The Greendale Group is a successful family company which boasts a diverse range of businesses including the Greendale Business Park (close to Exeter and the M5), Greendale Farm Shop, a large working farm, a fishing business (Waterdance Limited), Exmouth Marina, as well as a number of other investments in both commercial and residential property across the South West.
The Marketing Assistant will be highly motivated, creative and will help to drive forward the marketing activities of the company and its brands.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery and execution of a diverse range of marketing activities and campaigns through offline, digital and events.
Job role responsibilities include:
Work with the marketing team to manage brand and marketing initiatives
Support in the daily management of all current social media channels (FB, Twitter & Instagram)
Maintain company websites including e-commerce website
Maintain assets in the company's asset management tools.
Using website analytics to ascertain the relative effectiveness of ongoing campaigns
Work closely with trading teams to understand product details and campaign opportunities.
Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities.
Assist in the development and implementation of in-store marketing communications and product packaging
Create and publish printed marketing material
Create engaging content including photography and video
Write copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, website material etc.)
Provide administrative support to the marketing department
Skills and experience required:
Proven marketing experience
Proficient in MS Office and marketing software
Excellent communication and people skills
BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or relevant discipline desirable
Creative, innovative and results-driven approach
Photoshop & InDesign skills desirable
Very organised, able to deliver to agreed timescales
Demonstrable retail marketing experience would be advantageous.
Experience within a food service organisation is desirable but not essential.
Competence in website management preferable
Experience within Retail eCommerce preferable
