Description
I am currently recruiting for a Site Agent for a major Highways scheme in Penrith. This role is a permanent position for around 4/5 years with scope to move onto other schemes afterwards.

As Site Agent, you will be responsible for

  • Planning, programming and monitoring the works throughout the construction phase.
  • Competent in the execution of detailed remeasures in accordance with Highway Specifications.
  • Preparing detailed weekly measures and reports.
  • Coordinating the various specialist subcontractors involved with the contract and the monitoring of their accounts.
  • Ordering materials and maintaining material reconciliation statistics.
  • Preparation of Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
  • Maintaining Quality Control records
  • Managing design and preconstruction, construction to close out to meet all contractual requirements
  • Assisting the project management team in ensuring the effective and efficient site management of the project quality objectives. Promote continuous improvement, lean practices and share good practice at project level and within the business
  • Lead, manage and motivate the engineering and design staff on the scheme
As Site Agent, you will have the following experience and qualifications

  • BEng Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Highways Experience
  • 5+ years experience
  • CSCS Card
  • SMSTS & First Aid
