Billing Analyst

Our client is looking to fill a key role as a Billing Analyst within their growing billing department based at offices just outside of Basingstoke.

Role Summary for the Billing Analyst**The primary function of this role will be the reconciliation of supplier accounts. This is an important element of the function of the billing team, providing the opportunity to work with other departments; job satisfaction is achieved when savings or additionalincome is identified for the business.

Key areas of responsibility for the Billing Analyst**- Supplier Invoice Reconciliations; identification and resolution of unreconciled items

Raise supplier disputes, working to a point of resolution
Investigation to determine and fix work process errors throughout the business
Collaborating with other departments and group companies to resolve problems
Data integrity updates to ensure high quality and accuracy of invoice information
Identification of synergies and potential workflow improvements
Bill Run Support

Essential skills required for the Billing Analyst

Excellent Excel Skills
Strong analytic skills with a tenacious personality as problems can be complex and involved
Completer finisher, able to take a task and follow it to the end without close supervision
Eye for detail with a penchant for accuracy
Strong personality with the confidence to be assertive
Good communication to be able to verbalise findings and suggest solutions
Polite and well mannered
Confident happy personality, prepared to be innovative and embrace a changing environment
Microsoft Office suite

The role is office based with scope for Agile working once a suitable training period has been completed.

Salary - based on skills and experience - £24-26K per annum
