Denholm is excited to be partnering with a global organisation based in Glasgow who have an excellent opportunity for a recently Qualified Accountant to join the Finance team as a Financial Accountant due to continued growth.

You are a technically strong individual who works well in a fast-paced environment and who can build effective stakeholder relationships.

Reporting into the Senior Accounting Manager you will hold responsibility for supporting a number of legal entitiesfor all statutory and regulatory reporting and year-end audit process.

The role will also have a key focus on supporting a wide range of projects with a focus on improving existing processes.

You will also be responsible for financial reporting including quarterlyreporting and supporting the preparation of the reporting pack.

Within the role, you will work with a wide range of stakeholders, and will also communicate results to both the business and board level when required.

Other responsibilities include liaising with external auditors and implementing process improvements whenappropriate.

You will ideally be a fully qualified finance professional, ICAS, ACCA or CIMA.

Ideally, you will have trained within professional practice, industry or financial services and have gained experience of financial reporting and analysis, statutory accounting,and internal control.

You have experience and working knowledge of UK Accounting standards with proficient Excel skills. EMEA experience is advantageous but not essential.

You are an ambitious individual who has strong communication skills and can build effectiveworking relationships with a range of stakeholders.
