Description
We are currently recruiting for a HSEQ Consultant to develop, review and maintain the Business Occupational Health & Safety, Environment and Quality management systems.
As the HSEQ Consultant you will create a culture amongst the management team where the recruitment and use of safety leaders is seen as an essential part of delivery of vision and 100 and #ichoose2bsafeKey Responsibilities_**_
- Coordinate liaisons with regulatory agencies, in particular the Health & Safety Executive
- Provide advice to a broad range of functional areas across ISS UK
- Develop and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) in conjunction with the UK Team
- Proactively deliver safety, health and wellness programmes in conjunction with the UK
- Engage and work with management to create a strong culture which recognises ownership of HSEQ management at all levels
- Drive a consistent approach to HSEQ and collaborate with Operation Performance teams and central functions to embed 'Stronger, Simpler, Closer'
- Proactively manage internal and external audit via ISO standards 45001, 9001 & 14001
Professional and personal competencies/qualifications_**_
- Wide ranging Leadership experience in a HSEQ role within a complex matrix organisation
- Demonstrable expertise in HSEQ relating to Facilities Management, particularly hard services and working in multisite operation. Government experience desirable
- Robust collaborative and communicative leadership skills, with the ability to influence and persuade without any direct line management
- A passion for HSEQ and the ability to inspire a culture where HSEQ is an embedded part of everyday operations
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent with IOSH membership
