Shifts:12-Hour Shifts - Days, Nights, Weekends, or a Combination, Subject to Availability
We are currently seeking a full-time Clinical Lead - Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with expertise in managing challenging behaviors. Join our organization, where people are highly valued.
As the Clinical Lead - Mental Health Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in leading, motivating, and developing the staff team.
- Ensuring full compliance with CQC and local authority regulations, in collaboration with the Manager and Deputy.
- Updating and assessing care plans.
- Assuming leadership in the absence of another Nurse.
- Delivering exceptional clinical care to residents, setting the standard for excellence for other nurses within the home.
- Providing support to nursing and care staff on the floor.
- Assuming responsibility for medication administration and ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
Applicants should:
- Possess a minimum of 34 years of experience in senior nursing or clinical leadership roles.
- Be an NMC qualified RMN with a valid PIN.
- Demonstrate friendliness and a patientoriented approach.
- Exhibit good computer literacy and leadership skills.
- Have a high level of clinical proficiency and attention to detail; prior experience in a Nursing Home setting is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments of Residents and developing individualized care plans.
- Administering medications and monitoring their effectiveness.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitoring Residents for changes in behavior or symptoms.
- Maintaining accurate and uptodate medical records.
Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and psychology relevant to mental health.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with mental health conditions.
- Proficiency in medication administration and monitoring.
- Familiarity with therapeutic interventions and counseling techniques.
- Capacity to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Up to £54,912.00 per year
