The Best connection are looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist for one of our Clients based in Lancaster.


As a Sewing Machinist, you will provide support and assistance to areas of the business that require production and organisational tasks to be completed.

The job will involve sewing on a variety of sewing machines, fabric cutting and general factory duties as required.


Key responsibilities:

To operate manual and mechanical cutting, eyeleting and similar equipment
To assist in the manufacture of a wide range of fabric goods
Packaging of goods

This is a permanent position.

The hours can be flexible from part-time up to full time. Part-time or full time hours are available. Our client is flexible with hours to accommodate the requirements of their team members.

Immediate start available.


Benefits & Requirements:


  • Hourly rate as above, or the appropriate National Minimum Wage (age dependent)
  • Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave prorata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
