The Supervisor is second to the Warehouse Manager and is a very hands-on role which involves:
Working alongside and leading the warehouse team to ensure all outbound deliveries are accurately picked and loaded in a timely manner

Liaising with the Warehouse Manager to ensure deliveries are made as accurately and efficiently as possible

Ensuring finished goods and stock movements are accurately recorded and stock is rotated in accordance with the correct FIFO processes

Continuous improvement with regards to warehousing activities and implement new procedures as agreed

Maintain team compliance to all Quality and Health and Safety Legislative requirements at all times including the use of all equipment

Other ad-hoc duties - daily counts, freezer & chillers stock checks, rack cleaning, FLT charging/maintenance

The successful Warehouse Supervisor is expected to have:
An active Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck license

Experience as a warehouse Team Leader demonstrating ability to coordinate operations

Preferably from the food / chilled industry

Hands-on commitment to getting the job done with a positive can-do attitude

Health and Safety awareness

IT literate with MS Word, Excel, Outlook as desirable

Benefits for the Warehouse Supervisor include:

Salary / rate:
£15.55 p/hr plus overtime

Shifts:
Monday to Sunday on a 2 weekly rota

Week 1: 8am to 6pm Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat

Week 2: 8pm to 6am Wed, Thurs, Fri then 8am to 6pm Sunday

Overtime paid at time and a half after 8 hours each day

Holidays: 28 days per year)
