To be a point of contact for all matters relating to operational and aircraft dispatch matters on station.- To assist in the management of the department and associated duties, whilst staying compliant with all standard operating procedures, policies, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- To work with Operations Supervisor and all departmental heads to ensure high performance and standards from all areas
- To support the Operations Supervisor in ensuring that all Service Level agreements are understood and adhered to by the TCO team and maintained.
- Effectively liaise, communicate, and consult with the customer airline(s), third party handlers, airport authority and operational staff as required in support of the Operations Supervisor.
- To assist the Operations Supervisor in management/allocation of overtime and ensure there are adequate staff levels across all shifts
- Be the operational point of contact in the absence of Operations Supervisor and notify Senior Management as required.
- Assist in the maintenance and management of all relevant regulatory and internal paperwork appertaining to flights handled. Monitor flight file completion take corrective action as required.
- To carry out any reasonable request or operate any equipment when trained to do so, whilst maintaining a safe, smooth, and efficient operation.
- Assist, guide and support the development of junior staff as required in line with company policy.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 2 years (and/or) Dispatch / TCO / Operational experience in an aviation environment.
- Altea Weight & Balance competency & or similar Weight & Balance system (essential)
- RSMS experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to converse with Management, Airlines, MAG and, Policing Authorities in a confident and professional manner.
- Ability to manage and influence competing demands
- Consistent service delivery and standards.
- Knowledge of company personnel processes, policies, and procedures.
