To be a point of contact for all matters relating to operational and aircraft dispatch matters on station.

  • To assist in the management of the department and associated duties, whilst staying compliant with all standard operating procedures, policies, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • To work with Operations Supervisor and all departmental heads to ensure high performance and standards from all areas
  • To support the Operations Supervisor in ensuring that all Service Level agreements are understood and adhered to by the TCO team and maintained.
  • Effectively liaise, communicate, and consult with the customer airline(s), third party handlers, airport authority and operational staff as required in support of the Operations Supervisor.
Workin support of the Operations Supervisor with forward planning, staffing levels and making sure operational requirements are met

  • To assist the Operations Supervisor in management/allocation of overtime and ensure there are adequate staff levels across all shifts
  • Be the operational point of contact in the absence of Operations Supervisor and notify Senior Management as required.
  • Assist in the maintenance and management of all relevant regulatory and internal paperwork appertaining to flights handled. Monitor flight file completion take corrective action as required.
  • To carry out any reasonable request or operate any equipment when trained to do so, whilst maintaining a safe, smooth, and efficient operation.
  • Assist, guide and support the development of junior staff as required in line with company policy.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 2 years (and/or) Dispatch / TCO / Operational experience in an aviation environment.

  • Altea Weight & Balance competency & or similar Weight & Balance system (essential)
  • RSMS experience (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to converse with Management, Airlines, MAG and, Policing Authorities in a confident and professional manner.
  • Ability to manage and influence competing demands
  • Consistent service delivery and standards.
  • Knowledge of company personnel processes, policies, and procedures.
