The Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) is the leading UK professional membership body for ecologists and environmental managers working to protect and enhance the natural environment in the UK and Ireland.


The Professional Development Team organises conferences and training events, supports members' undertaking continuing professional development (CPD), and provides careers advice and guidance.


Key Result Areas:


I.
Training programme
Provide administrative support for the organisation of the training programme including:

  • Responding to booking enquiries and processing bookings, transfers and substitutions
  • Course administration including: creating and managing webpages, preparing joining instructions, evaluation forms and delegate lists, setting up zoom meeting links, inputting feedback data and issuing CPD certificates
  • Maintaining uptodate event information for delegates, trainers, courses and venues via a central CRM database (Dynamics based)
  • Filing course on SharePoint
  • Updating event listings to help promote training courses in enewsletters

II.
Conference programme
Provide administrative support for the organisation of conferences including:

  • Responding to booking enquiries and processing bookings, transfers and substitutions
  • Preparing delegate packs and items for inperson conferences
  • Issuing joining instructions to attendees
  • Assisting in uploading content to online conference platforms

III.
Webinar programme
Provide administrative support for the organisation of the webinar programme including:

  • Adding webinars to CRM database, creating and managing webpages, preparing joining instructions and evaluation forms, preparing delegate lists, setting up Zoom meeting links, uploading recordings to YouTube and CIEEM website resources hub

IV.
Other Activities

  • Attend and take minutes of meetings as required, including the quarterly Training, Education and Careers Development Committee (TECDC)
  • Supporting the administration of the Accredited Degree Programme
  • Supporting the annual CPD Audit of members
  • Undertaking activities to support student and careers engagement
  • Contributing to the development of new professional development projects and activities
  • Assisting other departments with a range of administrative tasks when required
  • Complying with all internal procedures and policies including health and safety, financial procedures and performance management

Salary:
£22,786.00 per year
